Ok, it’s more like reference makes the key in animation. Last week’s assignment was all about planning - an essential part of animation. I spent over a couple of hours outside shooting reference video for my shot. I made quite a few people laugh as they watched from inside their houses too. The idea developed quite a bit and once I spliced together different parts from different videos I ended up with what I wanted for my shot. Unfortunately for you I don’t think I’ll put that bit on the internet. But I made an animatic out of my sketches so you can have a general idea of what I’m going for. This week I’m blocking it out - started last night, hopefully I’ll get a public review on AM’s site tonight. It’s all about the feedback…seriously.
