Kennecott Copper Mines

We took some time away from work and visit the Kennecott Copper Mines on the West end of the Salt Lake Valley.

It’s two miles across, 3/4 of a mile deep. Being up high creates a perfect environment for tilt shift. You’d never guess that tires on the trucks are 12 1/2 feet tall.
